Sunset Switches turn on lighting once ambient light drops below the defined level, and turn off lighting once ambient light increases.

56 Series Sunset Switches come in 2-wire and 3-wire designs, making them ideal for car park lighting applications, where compliance with building code regulations and AS/NZS251680 standards are required.

They are available in weatherproof housings and are compatible with fluorescent and resistive load currents of up to 10AX.

The Sunset Switch features a convenient ‘Dusk to Dawn’ setting, helping with easy installation setup.

Lighting will be activated at dusk and switched off at dawn.

For those applications requiring additional flexibility, an inbuilt timer adjustment allows lighting to be activated for a pre-set time only (2, 4, 6, 8 or 12 hours), providing the user with even more energy savings.

The lux level setting can be adjusted from 20 to 500 lux, which means the Sunset Switch can activate lighting to turn ON once ambient light drops below the defined level.

This allows flexibility in regards to the mounting location of the Sunset Switch.
