Delivery Information

Shipping

  • If you are unsure, please contact us at sales@chew.com.au, prior to placing your order.
  • Free Delivery is offered on orders over $400, subject to conditions.
  • Bulky goods, special orders, palletised products and redeliveries may incur additional surcharges, we will contact you, to advise you of the additional cost, prior to dispatch.
  • We use multiple freight companies, therefore we are unable to deliver to PO Boxes.
  • Orders are dispatched within 24 hours where possible, unless there are supplier stock issues, Special Orders etc…, we will contact you prior to dispatch, to make alternative arrangements, with the option of cancelling the items concerned.
  • Please allow 2-3 days for Metro deliveries.
  • Deliveries to WA, NT, Country and Regional areas, please allow 7-14 days

Missing Parcels

  • Whilst Castle Hill Electrical Wholesalers take great care in selecting reputable freight companies, from time to time items do go astray, we will not be liable for any items lost in transit, we will be happy to assist in filling out a missing parcels claim with the respective courier company and liaise in finding the missing parcel.
  • Please note Australia Post does not offer any compensation for missing parcels and courier companies differ in their compensation claim procedures.
  • Certain courier companies do offer insurance at additional cost, should you require this service, please contact us before placing your order, so we may obtain a quote from the courier company for the additional cost.
  • Any parcels that the customer has asked the courier company to be redirected, to an alternative address, is at the customers risk and we will not be liable for any replacement or compensation if the parcel is lost in transit.

We must be notified of any shortages or damaged goods within 48hrs of items being delivered.

Returns & Refunds

  • All products purchased from www.chew.com.au are backed by a Thirty Day Returns Policy within your rights as per NSW Consumer Legislation.
  • We do not accept returns or give refunds if you were supplied with what you asked for, but simply changed your mind, found it cheaper somewhere else, decided you did not like the purchase or had no use for it, this is within your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
  • Please do not return any items without our prior consent.
  • All products returned must be in perfect unused condition, with all components, complete with original packaging. We cannot allow returns on damaged or incomplete products.
  • Custom cuts of electrical cables and custom made products, are not refundable, unless deemed to be faulty.
  • Should the product not be in its original condition, please contact us before returning the item, this may save you some unnecessary costs. The customer is responsible for all shipping costs related to a change of mind return. 
  • We recommend that you return your unwanted items using registered post or a trackable courier. We cannot be held responsible if returned items are lost in transit.
  • Proof of purchase is required for all returns and refunds. A refund will be paid to the account originally debited.

Faulty & Damaged Goods

  • If you find that the goods were damaged in transit, please contact us within 24 hours of receiving the goods. We will organise for the return of the goods and arrange a credit towards your next purchase or send a replacement product. Customer will incur the cost of return postage and be credited the purchase price only. 
  • If an item is found to be faulty upon receipt, please contact us to arrange a return and we will send out a return satchel/bag with the replacement.
  • If an item develops a fault within its warranty period, you can choose to contact the manufacturer directly or return the item to us, after contacting us for a returns number and we will liaise with the manufacturer to resolve the issue. The customer will bear the cost of returning the item to us and postage to return the repaired/replacement product, unless agreed in writing by the manufacturer, please contact us to arrange a return and send out a replacement.
